I am experiencing an issue where a translated page is completely stuck in the "In progress" status and won't publish.
Here is what happened:
I am trying to translate the "404 Error Page" into German.
I opened the Advanced Translation Editor and used the automatic translation feature.
The translation reached 100% completion.
I clicked the "Save and Complete" button.
The Issue:
Instead of being published, the page shows a gear icon (In progress) in the WordPress Pages list. When I go to the WPML Translations Queue, the status also remains "In progress". No matter how many times I re-enter the editor and click "Save and Complete", the status does not change.
I have attached screenshots showing the 100% completion in the editor, the queue status, and the pages list.
Could you please help me fix this stuck translation? Thank you!
Subject: Translation stuck "In progress" - AMS API returned false (Network is 200 OK)
Hi WPML Support,
My ATE translation is permanently stuck at "In progress".
Error Log: {"error":"AMS API returned false","sitekey":"xxxxxx2a0a"}
What I have explicitly tested and confirmed:
Generated a brand new Site Key and re-registered WPML. The error persists.
Checked my server's outbound network. curl -I hidden link and curl -I hidden link both successfully return HTTP/2 200 OK. There are no firewall or DNS blocks on my server.
Used the Troubleshooting page to clear cache and sync ATE jobs.
Since my network is perfectly open to your servers and the site key is new, it appears my site/jobs are corrupted or locked on the AMS cloud backend after a recent plugin reinstallation.
Could you please access your AMS backend to clear the lock/reset the connection for my site?
