I am trying to: Configure the menus

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: English menus

Instead, I got: French menus

Hello guys, this is very weird. Recap:
WP hacked with Trojans. I downloaded by FTP the full site and database for backup.
I cleaned the online database from virus entries.
I cleaned all the files with script injection.
I uploaded ALL the files back to the server.
All the plugins were fine but WPML would do strange things.
- The english version loads the pages with a different template from the blank page. it loads them with a right sidebar.
Almost all of it seemed good but
- English menu would appear instead of french menu
- It would not change the menu languages
- It would let me create a new menu but
- I can't add any pages to menus. They will just not show on the right side so I can not rearrange them or modify them.
- It would not sync the menus even I got it to see them properly ready to sync.

I'm a bit lost, settings are there and translations too.

Lately when having the WPML plugin alone with no more plugins at all. It would show the website but it would crash going into the Wp-admin with a 500 error. I removed .htaccess and the same problem

I managed to get it back "working" Copying the Plugin folder from the backup. So you can see better the horrible mess.

To ensure the quickest and most accurate support, please provide your debug information so that I can get a look at some of your configurations.

NOTE: Please be sure to check the box to indicate you can provide debug info and paste your debug info in the debug field provided, and NOT in the general response field.

Make sure this option is selected:
WPML > Settings > Posts and pages synchronization > Synchronize page template

and then update the original page.

Regarding the menu, what happens if you translate it without synchronizing it:

Finally, you may try this:
Please be sure to make a full backup of your site and database.
 
Then, go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting.
 
Look for 'Clean up' and click the following:
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Set language information
