I am trying to: Update WPML custom field settings for an advanced custom fields plugin repeater field for a custom post type

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
Needed settings: hidden link
Won't update, goes back to don't translate after update: hidden link

I expected to see:
The settings to update properly when selecting (copy/copy once/translate)

Instead, I got:
After clicking save for custom fields in WPML settings for this particular repeater field, nothing happens. It thinks for several seconds, and then reverts back to "don't translate" for each of the repeater sub-fields and sub-field system fields.

I haven't had this issue with any of the other similar repeater fields, which are all repeater fields with only 1 'link object' sub-field – the field can be found by searching for 'case_studies' in custom fields & system fields

I understand you are having issues completing translations. Since this type of issues can be created by some conflicts or php errors. I would need your help to narrow down the issue. Could you please provide feedback on the following questions as much as possible?

Can you confirm that you are still experiencing issues with minimal set up (all plugins except WPML disabled and the theme on a WordPress default such as Twenty Nineteen)

1. Please follow the debugging information provided here:
2. Repeat the action of creating the problem.
3. Copy and paste the contents of debug.log (log file inside the /wp-content/ directory) here for me to see.
