I am trying to:

I have two languages set : English and French.

WPML translations works properly throughout the website. However, the "slug" for the locations archive (CPT set by Yoast SEO Local) does not get translated (both the archive title and in the breadcrumbs).

I have been following up with Yoast support at the same time. All plugins and core are updated to latest version. The CPT name have been translated in "post type translation" of "multilingual content setup" tab. String translation has also been used to translate everything matching "locations" as an exact match.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

hidden link
### Notice "locations" being used in french instead of "emplacements" in the breadcrumbs.

I expected to see:

The breadcrumbs should use the translated slug "emplacements".

Instead, I got:

"locations" is being used on the french page.

Hi, indeed, the Yoast support found a solution.

The problem was that when a label for location singular and location plurial is provided, the WPML translation does not work.

I am not sure if this is a Yoast bug or an WPML bug, but this should definitely be looked into.

The fix was to remove the label for both singular and plurial.

Thank you

Francois
