If you have the message:
There is a problem with the String Translation table in your site. This problem is not causing a problem running the site right now, but can become a critical issue in the future. WPML support team knows how to fix it. Please add a message in the relevant support thread and we'll fix it for you.
Please create a new ticket in our forum.
If you have message like this one:
We have detected a problem with some tables in the database. Please contact WPML support to get this fixed.

That issue can be resolved by using the [x] button in the upper right corner of the message to close and dismiss that message.
Do you have issues dismissing that message? If you do - then you can try to remove the key "wpml_notices" from the option table(by default wp_options, where "wp_" is your database prefix).

WPML 3.8 includes major updates to the String Translation tables. As part of this, we rely on indexes that were supposed to be there already. We learned that in some sites, these indexes are missing and cannot be created automatically because of data conflicts. We know how to fix this, but it's something that needs to be done with a lot of care. If you got this message, please add a comment here. We'll contact you, get a backup of your site, test the migration logic and make sure that it's working for you. Note: You might encounter a false positive where this message appears, but it is a separate issue. Please do note, in order to protect your data, when we send you your patched databases - we send an invite to your WPML profile e-mail for a shared folder via Dropbox. |
