Tell us what you are trying to do?
I upgraded to the latest version of WPML and now i can't see the categories of my posts in list display in the backoffice of WP (see the screenshot).
i can edit the categories in the quick edit, save and it would show up again.
but if i edit the post directly through the content, categories are checked and they disapear again in list display once saved.

I tryed it on my dev environement, and it works fine as long as i use WPML 4.0.8, upon upgrading to 4.2 i get this bug.

I'd like to either have a solution to this or have a quick save walkthrough to downgrade WPML to 4.0.8

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

i searched a bit more and found this :
if i turn Yoast off, categories are back on full display... any further advice more than wellcomed.

Please, follow the steps below:

- Click on the WPML > Support > Troubleshooting
- Look for Clean Up and click on these buttons:
-- Select "Posts" and click on the "Synchronize posts taxonomies" button
-- Clear the cache in WPML
-- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
-- Fix element_type collation
-- Set language information
-- Fix post type assignment for translations
