The issue was passed to our Dev team, so a fix will be included in future versions. Can't tell you which one for now.

Hi Otto,

How are you? I hope it is all well.
At this moment I'm running version 3.8.0-b1 (due to another issue) and I thought it was about time to check if this issue was solved as it was promised for version 3.7.

Sadly it is not! I still have to select the header image for all the different languages. Like we agreed before, because there is only Dutch as other language it was not a very big deal and the workaround was sufficient.

However it is, like we said before, not the final solution and I was patient for quite a while but I think it is time to solve it right away.

Over the last period my faith in WPML has reached its lowest point ever. The issues I'm facing are "open" forever......

A message: "Hey WPML team, get your act together and provide a good product as for now it is very, very, very bad".

I'm truly sorry for the inconveniences.

George will provide you a dev version soon and hopefully, the performances issue will be solved.

Regarding this one, when exactly our developers will add a new feature is not up to us to determine. Each issue reported in, whether a bug or a new feature request, is taken seriously into consideration. It is given a high or low priority based on a number of factors. Factors which those with the overview of all things related are in the best position to determine.

I will let our team know your disappointment, I can't do much more here 🙁

Since I have changed the theme of the site I noticed that I still have to work with the workaround you provided. Anything new to mention about this issue.

Ok, the workaround works but it is a inefficient to set the header images over and over again.....

Not yet. I am truly sorry for this.

Take into account that this issue's priority is low for the dev team (not for you, I know).

It is affecting few users, there is a workaround and it is complex to solve...

I will be handled, but I can't tell you when.
