Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

If I delete the plugin and upload a new version, will I loose all my translated content?
- No, you will not loose your translated contents.

In this case, we recommend you to do a manual update.
Please follow the steps explained here: https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#updating-manually

Always make a back up of your whole site and database before proceeding this kind of works. It's a good practice and recommended.

Let me know you need further assistance regarding this after checking the above steps.

Regards,
Riffaz.
