This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using WP Travel Engine to create travel packages and need to translate these packages into multiple languages using WPML. However, only the title and media fields appear in the Translation Editor, and other important fields like Overview, Trip Highlights, Itinerary, Includes/Excludes, Dates, FAQs are not showing correctly. Additionally, some fields such as Dates display incorrect values in the translated version.
Solution:
Firstly, it's important to note that WP Travel Engine plugins and the Travel Quest theme are not officially compatible with WPML. If you decide to continue using these plugins, you should check the WP Travel Engine's documentation on working with WPML here: https://docs.wptravelengine.com/article/build-a-multilingual-travel-website/. This documentation might provide some insights into your issues.

Additionally, you can add a configuration file to make WPML work with any plugin or theme by following the basic WordPress multilingual guidelines. More information can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/. However, we cannot guarantee this will resolve all issues with WP Travel Engine plugins and theme.

If these solutions do not suffice, and you find no suitable alternative among plugins that are officially compatible with WPML, consider requesting a refund within the 30-day period here: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/.

If the solution provided here becomes irrelevant due to updates or does not apply to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

umera

Background of the issue:
I am using WP Travel Engine to create Umrah and travel packages on our website, hidden link, and we have purchased the full WPML plan. We need to translate these packages into Arabic, French, and Spanish.

Symptoms:
Only the title and media fields appear in the Translation Editor. Important fields like Overview, Trip Highlights, Itinerary, Includes/Excludes, Dates, FAQs are not showing correctly for translation. Some fields, such as Dates, show wrong values in Arabic (e.g., 1 Jan 1970 instead of 14–27 November 2025).

Questions:
How can we configure WPML so that all WP Travel Engine fields can be translated?
How can we fix the issue with Date fields so they copy correctly from the original language?
How can we ensure section labels like Overview, Itinerary, Dates, FAQs are also translated?

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing a WPML subscription.

Unfortunately, the WP Travel Engine plugins and the Travel Quest theme are not officially compatible with WPML. Based on other reports about the plugins I've seen in our forum and internal documentation, I recommend considering an alternative travel plugin. Please check our Booking category for similar plugins: https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/booking/.

If you must continue using these plugins, I can see that the WP Travel Engine states they are officially compatible with WPML. Please check their documentation about working with WPML: hidden link. I hope it will be helpful to you. It answers some of the questions you asked here. Please understand that we can not be responsible for other companies that state they are compatible with WPML if they have not contacted our compatibility team and worked with us on making their plugins and themes officially compatible. If you need further help with this plugin and theme, I suggest you contact them for support with working with WPML.

In general, I want to mention that you can add a configuration file to make WPML work with any plugin or theme, following basic WordPress multilingual guidelines. You can check our guide about this subject here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/. However, please note that I can't guarantee it will resolve all issues (if there are any) with the WP Travel Engine plugins and theme. If you have specific questions about the above guide, we will be happy to answer them.

Lastly, I want ot say that if you must continue working with the WP Travel Engine theme and plugins and you don't find a good alternative with one of the plugins that are officially compatible with WPML, you can get a refund within our 30-day refund period. You request a refund here: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/. Nevertheless, we will be happy if you decide to stay with and continue using WPML.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Itamar.
