Just got this warning "WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org" and now none of my content is visible when I visit my site.

I also noticed this issue in the Advanced Translation Editor Error Logs, " Site Moved or Copied - Action Required - ATE communication locked."

Hello there,

Thanks for your contact, and welcome to the WPML support forum!

We can try a possible solution for this issue. Just follow these steps please:

- Backup your database and website
- Deactivate the existing WPML plugin and add-ons
- Login in your server through FTP and delete the WPML plugin files – this does not delete your translations. You will just delete the plugin files from your "wp-content/plugins" folder, all your data will be kept saved
- Keep all other plugins deactivated and switch the theme to a default one (Twenty Twenty-One, for example)
- Install and activate WPML again. You can download it from your account: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
- Now go to https://wpml.org/account/sites/
- Find the key of your affected site and erase it
- Create a new key and copy it
- This time, try disabling the "Keep wpml.org up-to-date about which theme and plugins I use" option
- From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial, Click on "unregister the site" on the right top next to Check for updates
- In this same plugins panel, click under the "Register" button below WPML plugin
- Add your new Site Key copied above

Let us know if this resolves your issue or you need further assistance. Also, we have seen a few reports lately where after updating the site key, the error message goes away after a day or so. Could you please check again after this time (one or two days)?

Regards,
Mateus.

Hi Mateus,

I tried all the steps and the issue is still there.
Just a little info I did move the site from a previous server to a new one but everything was working fine for a week and this issue popped up out of no where.

We need this fixed asap since none of the page content is visible anymore

Hello there,

Thanks for your reply.

The warning message probably will vanish after a day or two, please wait until this time. Also, this issue is unlikely to be related to the other problem you reported, regarding the content not being visible anymore. For this new question, I've created another ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-none-of-my-content-is-visible/

This will help other users with similar problems find solutions when searching the forum as well as we avoid mixing lots of questions in one ticket.

We'll debug this new issue in the link above. Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,
Mateus.
