We are managing WordPress plugins and core updates via ManageWp, scheduling the update every week - Monday morning.

The last wpml-string-translation update is failing (2.9.2->2.10.0), here you find the steps to reproduce:

1) Log in to WP admin, I find a red notice, see screenshot
2) Navigate to WPML registration page
3) wpml-string-translation need to be updated
4) Check on wpml-string-translation plugin and update checkbox - Click on "Download" button - it fails, see screenshot
5) Click on "Check for updates" button - top/right corner
6) Again step 4 - It works!

This is not how it should work, why?
Thank you,

My updates aren't working either (see screenshot) and I really need to do my translations, but I get an error message now that the page isn't working. (HTTP ERROR 500)

Hi and thank you for contacting WPML Support!

I will be happy to help you with this.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is a known issue and we are working on a fix.

This user is experiencing the same thing you experience so can you please try to follow the steps Amit, our colleague, recommended there:

If that doesn't work, please use the workaround our colleague, Vincenzo, added in this ticket:

Please let me know if any of these options worked for you.

I will be waiting for your response.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

Thanks, Mihai!

As I wrote before, we manage hundreds of WordPress sites - via ManageWP.
We cannot open all of them, one by one.

Can you do anything to solve it?

Hi Leonardo.

Can you please check the message in the yellow box at the top of this page and let me know if that solves your issue?

It's this one:

"Hi everyone! we have just released a new bugfix version please see here the issues that it resolves:

If you have an issue updating, please follow these simple steps: - that issue is fixed but for some older versions it might be happening"

Please let me know.

Kind regards,
