WPML subdirectory structure for our websites

zycusI	Hi Team, We have two regional websites. Frech & German under main website zycus.com within subdirectories as hidden link & hidden link respectively. Both the websites are built with codeignter framework. We want to migrate the existing pages to zycus.com using WPML. My question is if I used WPML language for subdirectory same as the existing website hidden link & hidden link would it overwrites the existing pages. I would like to take your help for migrating the pages we would like to keep the URL same as existing language website. Looking forward from your response.

To achieve the same structure with WordPress and WPML, you can use the Different languages in directories feature of the WPML Language URL format. Please refer to this article for more details - https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/#different-languages-in-directories After configuring the languages and WPML, you can import the post in the default language, and then in the secondary languages.
