Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. First I would suggest to delete and manually re-install WPML Translation Management plugin again from the downloads page: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/

The other error you have mentioned “WPML could not load configuration files” -- This problem is normally related to the adjustments of your server, especially the cURL extension and its configuration. To resolve it, you need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to update the cURL extension to 7.34.0 and allow the SSLV3 extension. You can find more information here:
https://wpml.org/errata/wpml-could-not-load-configuration-files-which-your-site-needs/

We had other clients who had the same issue and was able to solve it:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wpml-could-not-load-configuration-files-which-your-site-needs/
- Also please make sure you site WP Memory is at least 256M.

After above changes are made, you can click the “Retry” button where the error displays currently and it should fix the issue then. Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for your reply!

I am no longer receiving the error message and I didn't make any of the steps you suggested. Should I leave it without making any changes or should I proceed with what you suggested?

Kind regards,
Ella

Hello,

Yes, you can leave it without doing any changes if all is working fine.

Thank you
