You are currently using WPML with a Blog subscription which does not include access to WPML String Translation add-on plugin.

The String Translation is available to Multilingual CMS and Agency subscriptions

Avada recommends to use the WPML String translation plugin but its not required and you can still use WPML without it.

if you do wish to upgrade your subscription you can either do it through your account or by contacting our Accounts Team.

please let me know if you have any further questions

Do you have a documentation for the set-up without the wpml string plugin.
And if i do the upgrade, it will be done automatically the sites and the translation?

Hi René,

The option to automatically translate comes through the WPML Advanced Translation Editor

[NOTE:Regarding the automatic translation: we provide you with a free quota of 2000 words. This is roughly 5 pages with a medium amount of content. If you want to get more machine translation you can buy additional quota. ]

for more information regarding automatic translation please review the following :

The translation without using String Translation and Translation Management (WPML Translation Editor) would be quite simple actually as it would be the same layout as your default language.

my recommendation is as follows :

Go to your default language page and click on "duplicate"

this will duplicate your layout and the whole page to the translation language

now access the translation and click on "translate independently" and start adding your translations , once done save.

let me know your results please
