I am trying to: Translate a product a product in woocommerce.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: I expected that clicking the plus sign to translate a product using wpml translationmanager should work and not giving an error message.
If i choose not to use the wpml translation manager things work as they should.

Instead, I got an error message. See the attached image.

I have done all standard procedures clearing wpml cache deleted posts with out element id in wp_icl_translations etc etc etc

Hello,

It seems you migrated the site to a new server, correct?

Please first go to WPML > Settings and complete the dialog on top of the page.

See screenshot.

If this will not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

Nope, haven't moved the site.
And I have answered this question before.
Earlier for a month or two back we moved from a dev url (lmrdev.hemhosting.se) to the houseofmotorsport.com domain, but as I said long time ago.
What should I answer?

Hello,

Ok, this dialog also is expected if you move from dev to live.

In this case please use the first option of the dialog and save.

The WPML Translation Editor should work after that.

If not, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

Anytime the site URL or server changes, this dialog will show up, which is expected.

Our devs implemented this dialog, in order to avoid issues when running for example a live site and a staging of the same site, at the same time.

Also, anytime the site URL changes or the site is migrated to another server please keep in mind that you will need to register WPML again with a new site key from wpml.org.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

Ok, so far we do not have reports about such issues.

Seems the dialog currently is no longer showing up on the site.

Maybe there used to be an issue with another plugin (or specific dashboard notification) that made the dialog not able to apply the changes?

In case it will appears again without that it is expected to appears, please contact us again but as the issue appears to be solved for now there is no more I could do about it.

I hope for your understanding and wish you a nice weekend!

Best regards
Andreas

The main issue could be seen right at the top of every page load (as seen in the image attached)

Without selecting anything there you wouldn't be able to open any page using the translation editor.

I selected "moved the site to this new URL" and then did the following to make the pages open in the editor:

1) Went to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
2) Resent the job for translation in WPML > Translation management
3) Tried to translate it again

I didn't have problems afterwards. you can try to translate a page now and if it doesn't work, use this guide to get it working: https://wpml.org/faq/translation-status-stuck-or-displaying-the-error-wpml-didnt-manage-to-translate-this-page/

Regards.

Back as in "everything's solved now" or as " the problem returned"?

If the problem returned, can you let me know exactly what steps did you take and what problem are you experiencing at the moment, so i can understand how to continue, please?

Thanks.
