Hi,

I have some multi-site with some shop. This shop would be multilingual on some different domains. Normally I would set some check under the options 'Language URL-format'. Now is the options on some different domains not possible with multi-sites.

I found some information about this support item: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/languages-in-domains-for-wordpress-multisite-mode/

The known issue of this support-item is that things will not work when the URLs used for the secondary languages are using the https protocol.

Is there some sollution for this problem. I would use the option to set the different languages on some different domains that uses the https protocol.

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you further on this issue.

I am sorry to let you know that there are no any solutions available for the limitation, https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/languages-in-domains-for-wordpress-multisite-mode/#known-limitations

You can try to use some custom programming work to make this work, which is beyond the scope of our support.

At this point I would suggest you consider contacting one of our certified partners from this link:
http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/

Before doing so please have a look also here:
http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/guidelines-for-people-looking-for-consulting-help/

You will get the custom assistance you need to get on with your project.

Thanks

Hi,

I have a question. Is it possible to change the language in the functions with some function like in this thread: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-set-the-language-of-existing-posts-programmatically/

I hope it is possible to change the language hard on some URL. Is it possible in this kind of way?
Hope to hear from you.
