I'm using YOAST SEO with your plugin. I also tried allmost all of the tickets with this issue but I can't manage to do it on my site. WMPL translate all but my breadcrumbs on YOAST SEO, I tried the breadcrumbs option with WPML and it's the same result, my categories are not translated.
Here is all I tried :
- the translation from the categories
- the string translate
- the administration translate
- I checked too in the article the option for translate the categorie but no results.

I choosed one example, for Tourism, I have more categories.

Can you help me please ?

Kind regards

can you tell me how where these categories created? Are they coming from some plugin or theme?

The correct way would be translating Yoast breadcrumb setting using WPML String Translation, but it seems we have currently a similar know issue with latest YOAST, that might be causing some problems at your website.

Can you please check and try workaround provided on next link:

Let me know how it goes.

This is how I created my CPT :

function custom_post_tourisme(){
$labels = array(
'name' => 'Tourisme',
'singular_name' => 'Tourisme',
'menu_name' => 'Tourisme',
'all_items' => 'Tous les articles',
'view_item' => 'Voir l\'article',
'add_new_item' => 'Ajouter un article',
'add_new' => 'Éditer un nouvel article',
'edit_item' => 'Éditer articles',
'search_items' => 'Recherche article',
'not_found' => 'Aucun article retrouvé',
'not_found_in_trash' => 'Aucun article retrouvé dans la corbeille',
$args = array(
'labels' => $labels,
'show_ui' => true,
'show_in_menu' => true,
'capability_type' => 'post',
'supports' => array(
'hierarchical' => false,
'taxonomies' => array( 'category', 'post_tag' ),
'show_in_rest' => true,
'public' => true,
'menu_icon' => 'dashicons-palmtree',
'has_archive' => true,
'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'tourisme'),
}add_action( 'init', 'custom_post_tourisme');

I tried to create one CPT with CPT UI, but it's the same issue.

I put the code in my function.php file, now I have the entirely url translated but the category in the breadcrumb stays not translated. Same problem on the articles of the home page

Another idea please ?

thanks for the info.

I have checked and it seems the fix will be included in the next YOAST Multilingual version, which should be released soon.

As you have seen on link shared, this is an open issue and our developers are working together with Yoast in fixing this issue. I can see most of the issues are fixed and new version should be released soon, probably sometime next week.

We have a workaround but due to the nature of the problem, it may not work for everyone. We are working to fix this issue as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing trouble translating Yoast content, please try the workaround below and wait for the next release of Yoast Multilingual.

I will update you once the new version is out and available for download.

Thank you for your patience.

I just wanted to update you, new version of YOAST ML is out that should fix your issues.

Please make sure to FIRST update YOAST SEO and then Yoast ML to avoid any compatibility issue.

Thanks and regards,
