Background of the issue:
I'm experiencing a persistent error when trying to enable automatic translation on my site hidden link. I verified that the default language is English (en) and correctly mapped to 'English' in WPML > Languages > Edit Languages and Translation Tools > Automatic Translation Engine > Language Mapping. The wp_icl_languages database entry for en is correct: code: en, default_locale: en_US, active: 1. I ran all WPML Troubleshooting actions including 'Set language information', 'Fix tp_id field', 'Synchronize translators', etc.
Symptoms:
The warning 'Your default language, English, must be mapped to a supported language in order to use automatic translation.' still appears in Translation Management, and I cannot activate 'Translate Everything Automatically'.
Questions:
Can you please reset or repair the language mapping on your end?
I am not seeing anything out of the ordinary from our side.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)
**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **
I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Before I provide access to the staging site, I’d like to mention an important detail that might help identify the issue:
The notice about the default language mapping (“Your default language, English, must be mapped to a supported language...”) reappeared right after the WPML license was transferred to the new owners of the site.
This might be related to the problem, as everything was working correctly before the license transfer.
Let me know if this helps or if you'd still like access to the staging site.
Thank you for sharing this information, I have not seen any reports that would indicate this is an issue but worth investigating !
