issue with translating the footer of our website using WPML and Jupiter X theme

Themes like JupiterX let you set footers, templates, headers, and logos from the theme options or Customizer. Once you translate your footer, it may appear fine on the backend, but not the front-end. This is because the theme displays the footer based on the template ID set in theme options. To display the translated footer, you need to "translate" the template ID. To do this, edit your default and secondary language templates to get their ID numbers from the URL. Then, search for the default language ID in String Translation. If you can't find it, click on the Translate texts in admin screens link and add the string to the String Translation table. Add the secondary language ID number as the translation. Your footers should now display as translated on the front-end. For more, see the page about translating theme options like footers, templates, headers and more. |
