Background of the issue:
I am trying to assign credits for automatic translation in WPML, but I am unable to do so.

Symptoms:
The screen keeps looping back and forth when I attempt to assign credits.

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to assist you in resolving the issue.

Please try the following steps to register the site with a new key after a full site backup (mandatory), and make sure you are getting the expected result or not.

1) Visit your account page at https://wpml.org/account/sites/.
2) Delete the existing key for your site (hidden link).
3) Navigate to Plugins >> Add New >> Commercial tab (after login to hidden link).
4) Click on "Unregister WPML from this site".
5) Refresh the page.
6) Click on "Get a key for this site" (assign prepaid credits to the site while creating the site key — for example, 5,000 credits).
7) Copy the newly generated code.
8) Return to Plugins >> Add New >> Commercial tab.
9) Register the site with the new key.

Refer to this documentation for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-assign-automatic-translation-credits-to-your-sites/

This doesn't help at all. The problem still remains, I've also updated woocommerce, but this also didn't change anything. Tried a different browser - still nothing.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. Please go to WPML >> Translation Management >> Translation Tools and check if the assigned translation credits are now visible.

If the credits are still not showing, kindly share screenshots of the following pages so we can further investigate:

- WPML >> Translation Management
- WPML >> Translation Management >> Translation Tools

Here's a video that shows the problem, the credits are visible in the panel but the translation doesn't "see" them in the translation panel, a "fix this" button is shows but when clicked nothing happens (a windows appears to show for while).

Hello,

Thank you for the login details. Just to confirm, have you previously cancelled the WPML Advanced Translation Editor’s Pay-as-you-go subscription?

Please try the following steps and check if there is any difference in the result.

- Log in to your WPML account: https://wpml.org/account/
- Move the translation credits back to your WPML.org account
- Go to this page and delete the existing key for hidden link
- Log in to your site and go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial tab
- Click "Unregister WPML from this site"
- Refresh the page
- Click "Get a key for this site"
- Copy the new key
- Go back to the Commercial tab and register WPML with the new key
- Return to your WPML account and assign credits to hidden link

Refer to the following documentation for more details.

https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-assign-automatic-translation-credits-to-your-sites/#how-to-remove-credits-from-a-site

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. The steps you have followed at the beginning are almost the same as the ones we suggested in our previous reply. However, we haven’t tried moving the translation credits back to your WPML.org account before. It would be great if you could remove the assigned credits and reassign them after registering the new site key. This might help resolve the issue.

Also, could you please confirm whether the WPML Advanced Translation Editor’s Pay-as-you-go subscription was cancelled in the past?

I don't have any credits now in my account :[ to move to - they're showing in the wordpress backend tho.

Yes I did use pay a you go but it was the same issue as here no credits etc. We're moving in circles right now and your tips aren't changing anything just wasting time.
