Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the media translation feature to show different logos per language on my Divi site. I have followed the instructions from this link: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/.

Symptoms:
I expected to see different logos per language, but instead, I got only the default logo on all sites.

Questions:
Why is the media translation not showing different logos per language?
How can I fix the issue of the default logo appearing on all sites?

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting our support.

As a test, can you please try a different procedure to try to translate the logo?

- Go to wp-admin > Divi > Theme Builder
- Switch the language at the top bar to the secondary language
- Edit the global header and I change the logo and save it

If it doesn't work, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.

Hello there,

Sure thing, due to the nature of the issue we're debugging, there's no need for the FTP information, you can omit it.

I tested the wp-admin credentials but I'm getting an error:

Fel: Felaktigt användarnamn eller lösenord.
2 försök återstår.

Can you please review it?

I've enabled the private fields again in case you need to share new data.

Thank you.
Mateus

Hello Johan,

Thank you for sharing those details.

Regarding the chat, it is still a possibility.

However, it is not possible to transform a ticket into a chat, so I'm afraid you'd need to connect to us again in order to talk to us in real time. If you don't happen to be connected to me right away you can ask to be redirected to me and if I'm online at that time I'll gladly assign the chat and take it over from there.

With regard to the logo, there are times we need to use the String Translation to translate it, instead of use the Media Translation, we translate the Media ID with the String Translation. I wanted to test it, but there's a security feature blocking a String Translation javascript from running. Please try to open this JS in the browse and you'll see: hidden link

This is preventing me from adding translations to the String Translation and from registering strings in the Admin Screen. I attached screenshots to show the issue.

This is an issue that goes beyond translating the logo and needs to be fixed. You may need to involve your hosting support or server administrator in this.

ok, I see.
Do you have any idea what kind om setting that is missing on the server side to allow this string translation? Please let me know.
Do you have any more info due to your experience that I can hand over to my colleague?

Hello Rickard,

I tried looking at the LiteSpeed forum if I could find it but I was only able to find information regarding the CDN plugin not the server software, eg.: hidden link

I temporarily disabled the plugin as a test and the block remained, so the block is coming from the server rather than the plugin.

You might want to reach out to the LiteSpeed team for help as well, they might be able to at least nudge you in the right direction.

This is the javascript that's being blocked and preventing the functionally of the String Translation at the moment: wp-content/plugins/wpml-string-translation/dist/js/strings-cleanup/app.js
