Hello there,
Thanks for your contact. I'll be happy to assist you with this!
We can try a possible solution for this issue. Please follow these steps (even if you already tried some of them before):
- Make sure to have a complete backup from your database and website
- Deactivate and exclude the existing WPML plugin and add-ons
- Install and activate WPML again. You can download it from your account: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
- Now go to https://wpml.org/account/sites/
- Find the key of your affected site and erase it
- Create a new key and copy it
- From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial, Click on "unregister the site" on the right top next to Check for updates
- In this same plugins panel, click under the "Register" button below WPML plugin
- Add your new Site Key copied above
Let us know if this resolves your issue or if you need further assistance. Also, we have seen a few reports lately where after updating the site key, the error message goes away after a day or so. Could you please check again after this time (one or two days)?
Regards,
Mateus.
