This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are working on a site under development and trying to translate strings in the
user.php
file for login functions, but the texts are not appearing in the WPML string translation area. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps: 1. Go to WPML > Languages and add a new secondary language. This action will enable you to re-scan WordPress. 2. Navigate to WPML > Theme and Plugins Localization and scan WordPress. This will register the string. 3. Proceed to WPML > String Translation, search for the string, and translate it.
We recommend these steps as they have been confirmed to work on your website. If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Please make sure to have a full website backup and update all your WPML plugins. To update them, go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial and click the option to check for new updates. There should be new versions available.
After updating, please go to WPML > Theme and Plugins Localization and check if WordPress is on the Core list, to be scanned. Let me know.
You know I made a demo website to test this issue. I also found this issue there where I installed new WP website and all things are updated and with just updated version. At begining I saw WP in list but after doing scan for strings it dissappeared as my previous website that we discussed today.
We have to complete content update in website for some important deadline. I wanted to learn about if it will be possible to return website normal view today?
I would like to ask that I want to return website from backup because for some WooCommerce settings. Can I return website from backup? Or I should return it from current case? I mean may be you have added some specific fix in current form of website and If I return it from backup, so your solution will be removed.
After that, apply the solution, which is to add another language, go to WPML > Theme and Plugins localization, scan WPML, then go to WPML> String Translation and translate the string. You can delete the other language thereafter.
I opened ticket related translation WordPress Core using WPML. But it not working. It started behave in the previous way. After I scan for strings in WordPress Core, these strings are not available in String Translation section.
I added images to show untranslated texts to Azerbaijani language. I can't find those texts and other error related texts in String Translation part which comes from WP Core.
You haven't provided any feedback on the solution we provided. Let me share it again, in more detail.
What's happening, is that the WordPress core can only be scanned once. In your case, there was likely some issue, as not all strings were registered after the scan. Thus, we need to re-scan it. To be able to do that, we need to:
1. Go to WPML > Languages and add a new secondary language. After that, you will be able to re-scan WordPress;
2. Go to WPML > Theme and Plugins Localization and scan WordPress. That will register the string;
3. Go to WPML > String Translation, search and translate the string;
I'm recommending that again, since you didn't provide any feedback and we confirmed on your website that the solution works. Let me know.
