Problem:
When I access a product this is redirected to the secondary language.
Solution:
Click on the WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual > Settings > Troubleshooting page, on the "Fix product_type taxonomy terms" option, and click on the "Start".
Also, click on the WPML > Support > Troubleshooting. Look for 'Clean up' and click on these buttons:
-- Clear the cache in WPML
-- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
-- Fix element_type collation
-- Set language information
-- Fix post type assignment for translations
Also, make sure that you are not using two equal slugs in the products of both language.
Problem:
One of my shop pages is not displayed in the secondary language.
Solution:
- Click on the WPML > Theme and plugins localization
- Select the "Translate the theme and plugins using WPML's String Translation" option
- Click on the Save button.
Problem:
When I try to create my shop page in alternative languages it returns 404.
Solution:
Please go to to WPML -> WooCommerce Multilingual -> Status - do you see any errors there? If so, please follow the instructions to resolve the errors.
Problem:
Whenever I click on a secondary language (English being the main one), the website loads the other language and then redirects back to English. This happens only the first time you click on another language. The second time it loads correctly the other language.
Solution:
The language browser redirection is enabled and that is why the second time switching language works.
In order to deactivate the redirection please go to WPML -> Languages -> Browser Language Redirection and deactivate it.
