This WPML release focuses primarily on compatibility with WordPress 6.2, so you can keep your sites up to date without breaking them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WPML’s Compatibility with WordPress 6.2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
WordPress 6.2 changes the Navigation menu which conflicts with WPML’s Language Switcher block<\/a>. When trying to edit the Dimension setting in the Language Switcher block, it freezes the editor. WPML 4.6.3 resolves this issue, making your language switcher formatting smooth and hassle-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Resolved PHP 8 Errors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We have been listening to feedback regarding PHP 8 issues reported by clients. We have worked hard to resolve these issues to ensure websites running PHP 8 continue to run smoothly and efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WPML String Translation 3.2.5 fixes a fatal error with string scanning that\u2019s related to PHP 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Update to WPML 4.6.3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\nBefore updating your site to WordPress 6.2, please be sure to update WPML first to prevent breaking changes.<\/p>\n
Remember to update your site to both WPML 4.6.3 and WPML String Translation 3.2.5.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
As with all of our releases, we are rolling this out to clients gradually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To update your site now, go to Plugins<\/strong> \u2192 Add New<\/strong> on your site and click the Commercial<\/strong> tab. Then, click Check for updates<\/strong>. If you still don’t see an update available after doing this, please try again later as it can take a bit of time for the update to propagate to all WPML-powered websites.<\/p>\n\n\n
