Now, WPML and WPEC run smooth together, providing an unparalleled user-experience for site-developers, shop-owners and visitors.<\/p>\n<h2>Multilingual E-Commerce<\/h2>\n<p>To build an e-commerce site with WPML and WP E-Commerce, you&rsquo;ll need:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>WPEC 3.8.6 or higher<\/strong> &#8211; get it from <a href=\"http:\/\/getshopped.org\">GetShopped.org<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>WPML 2.3.4 or higher<\/strong> &#8211; login to your WPML account for download<\/li>\n<li><strong>WPEC Multilingual<\/strong> &#8211; download from the button below<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a class=\"button download-button\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\" href=\"http:\/\/wpml.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/wp-e-commerce-multilingual.0.2.zip\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6069\" style=\"margin-bottom: -5px;\" src=\"http:\/\/d2salfytceyqoe.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/RO-Mx1-32_arrow-drive-download.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" \/> wp-e-commerce-multilingual.0.2.zip<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>(updated Aug 8th)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Multilingual e-commerce sites have some unique requirements that can&rsquo;t be found in either WPML or WPEC alone. For example, when visitors check-out products in any language, inventory and shipping must use a single version of the product. Or, when switching languages in the middle of the checkout process, everything must update together.<\/p>\n<p>The glue plugin, <em>WPEC Multilingual<\/em>, takes care of these special requirements. It uses hooks and filters that the WPEC added for us and makes all this magic possible.<\/p>\n<h2>Bug Fixes and Other Improvements<\/h2>\n<p>Many of these fixes came as a result of debugging WPML with WPEC, as it got us into corner cases that we didn&rsquo;t consider before.
