[Resolved] URGENT.. the development banner is not removing from my site

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.

please remove the development banner in bottom of my page ASAP!!!! I already changed to production and it say production here in wpml. but wordpress backend and front end say development. i need the banner gone by yesterday! i cant have that visible to clients.-

Hi there.

Please use the steps I recommended here (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-remove-in-the-footer/#post-10162473) and that will properly make that area disappear for you so that it won't get in your way any longer 🙂

Or you can go here (https://wpml.org/account/sites/) > remove the current key > generate a new key that will not be set as dev site > copy the new key > go to your website's backend > Plugins > Add new > Commercial > unregister WPML from the current dev key and register WPML with the new key.

That should resolve this.
