Problem: The client is experiencing slow translation processes in their web shop while using WPML to translate from English to Dutch, German, and French. Despite 15 days of effort, 11,000 translations remain in the queue, and some previously completed pages are still showing as in process. Solution: We recommend the following steps to address the issue: 1. Deactivate the 'Translate Everything' option by clicking the Pause button in WPML > Translation Management. 2. Temporarily deactivate other languages, keeping only two active. This can be done in WPML > Languages > Add/Remove Languages by unchecking the extra languages. 3. Select some content from WPML > Translation Management and send it to translation as a test. For more detailed guidance, visit Translating Your Contents.
If these steps do not resolve the issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket.
