To remove the "This site is registered on wpml.org as a development site" notice, switch your site key from development to production in your WPML.org account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are production and development sites?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Development sites display a banner with "This Site is Registered on wpml.org as a Development Site." To remove the banner, you need to switch your site key from development to production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to switch a development site to production?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To switch a development site to production:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into your WPML.org account and go to Register WPML on your sites<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the gear icon next to the site you want to move to production.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    1. Enter the URL of your production site and click Publish<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      What if the notice still appears after moving to production?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      If you continue seeing the notice banner on your website, register WPML with a new site key. This will not cause you to lose any translations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To register WPML with a new site key:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to Plugins \u2192 Add New<\/strong> and click the Commercial<\/strong> tab. Click Unregister WPML from this site<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
