Your translated strings are likely not showing up because your WP Memory limit is below WPML’s minimum requirement of 128M.

To check your current WP Memory Limit value, go to WPML → Support. If it’s below 128M:

  1. Follow the steps to increasing your WP Memory Limit.
  2. Go to WPML → String Translation, select the translated strings that aren’t displaying on the frontend, and delete them.

  1. In the Utilities section on the String Translation page, make sure that you have the feature to auto register untranslated strings enabled.

  1. Visit the page holding the string on the frontend in any language other than English. This makes the string available for translation again.
  2. Go back to WPML → String Translation and retranslate the string.

You should now see the translated string on the frontend.

What if my translated string still isn’t visible after following the steps above?

If you still can’t see the translated string:

  1. Make sure you are translating the correct string. Sometimes, the same string belongs to different domains. If you don’t translate the correct one, you won’t see it on the frontend.
