Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out to WPML Support.
I’m Prosenjit from the WPML Development Team, and I’ll be happy to help you with this issue.
Before we continue, I’d like to let you know that my Italian-speaking colleagues are currently unavailable, which is why I picked up your ticket and am replying in English. I hope that’s okay with you. If you would prefer support in Italian, please let me know in your next reply and we’ll see what we can arrange.
I understand the issue clearly. Based on the details you shared, this looks very similar to the issue reported in this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wpml-ate-showing-old-content/
In both cases, the updated content was not appearing in the editor. In the ticket above, the root cause turned out to be the Speed Optimizer plugin, which was preventing the updated content from being sent correctly to ATE.
When I checked the WPML Debug Information, I noticed that the same plugin (Speed Optimizer) is also active on your site. Because of that, I’d like to ask you to try the same solution.
Please follow these steps:
- Go to WPML → Translation Management → Jobs (or the Jobs tab in the Translation Dashboard)
- Cancel the current translation job
- Temporarily disable the Speed Optimizer plugin
- Make a small change to the original/default language page and save it
- Then update the translation and check whether the updated content now appears correctly in ATE
Please try this and let me know the result. If the issue continues, I’ll be happy to assist you further and continue the investigation. Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Prosenjit
