Problem: The client was experiencing issues with WPML on their WordPress site, including a failure to initialize the ATE dashboard, error 503 during management, and product duplication in different languages after attempting translations. Solution: We addressed the initialization issue by requesting access to the site to perform a detailed check and setup. For the error 503, we suggested checking if the PHP version could be temporarily downgraded and advised configuring the server to not cache specific WPML-related paths. To resolve the product duplication, we investigated and found that a custom script was causing repeated triggers of wp_update_post(), which confused WPML and led to duplicates. We identified and deactivated the problematic script, then proceeded with re-translating the products using existing translation credits, ensuring no further duplication occurred. We also adjusted WPML settings to prevent similar issues in the future.

This looks like a connection issue to activate the Advanced Translation Editor.
Do you currently have any plugins blocking external communication?

Data already sent. I have actually disabled the plugin due if i go to edit pages, i receive message that the template has not been correctly set (i imagine that WPML check for template also if is not correctly installed....). So please check also this when you activate it.
Being that the PHP version is 8.4, which is currently on beta support and has had some known issues with WPML, would it be possible to temporarily downgrade? I understand you mentioned you can't, but it would be good to exclude that being the case here if possible. (we can always take a copy and test locally if need be)

I've activated also the woocommerce support and string support plugin. Can i activate automatic update?
Regarding downgrade i cannot do. For expansion of memory i've got 1gb, so if you can change via ftp or i need to ask to hosting?
I've try now to translate also shop strings but i receive the attached error for "menu" block.
Also in public page the products are duplicated. link nascosto.
As you can see i see this in italian template but is english. I think there are other with same situation due products was about 350. Now are more than 400!
Was there a specific action that you believe caused these duplicates?
WPML alone should not do this, especially being that it's affecting the default language and not translations.
I can see this product for example

Also,
1. I published a new product called WPML Test
2. WPML->Translation Dashboard-> select it and send for translation
3. Translate Myself -> TRANSLATE -> ATE is working ok
4. product looks OK I dont see any duplicates and the translation is showing OK in the front end
Hi I have not taken backup. But if you check the products id you can delete and retry.
I have no import products. I have only use dashboard (all the credits and buy 100 euros of translation), select products as I have done for pages.
Also if you see the page museo / Museum the English version is not the same...
Hi, no not all products. Only the ones with creation date after wpml activation. I think the last added products are the photos from 1950 1940 these are there photos. All the products added after are duplicated. As gold shall be about 350 products
