Hello,

we started using this plugin for translating our support site.
The strategy we want to adopt is:
1- a product manager will select which pages to get translated
2- Use automatic translation on those items
3- Ask a native speaker to come in and proofread those items

The issue I have is that I don't know how to flag the pages that need to be proofread and separate them from the ones that have already been proof read.

Is there a way to do this? I did a test and translated a page in 3 languages, and the status is 'completed'. So I'm not sure how a proofreader can log in and see which pages they need to work on.

Thanks!

Hi there.

I don't think there's a specific way to flag them other than writing them down and sharing them with the person who will check the translations.

The only options that we have available are presented here:

I hope that you will find this information helpful. 🙂

Kind regards,

Thanks Mihai.
Looks like I'm going to need to use a spreadsheet, which I was trying to avoid.

That being said, it sounds to me like this would be a nice feature, how do we make a feature request? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who uses this 2-step (automatic + proofreading) process.

Thanks

Hi there and welcome back.

Yes, that would do a great feature request.

You can suggest a new feature here:

My issue is not resolved, it requires a feature request. Thank you!
