Hi there, we have used wpml to translate the site and shop and suddenly the client wants to hide the shop pages from the second language for some period. Having done most of the work in translating the shop, what is the easiest way to simply hide the woocommerce pages and when the client is ready again, bring them up?

Thank you

Hi there.

The fastest way is to completely hide that language:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/hiding-languages-on-the-front-end/

We don't have an option to hide only the products - you would have to either set all the translations as draft (switch the language at the top to the one you want to hide products in > go to "Products" > click "edit" on the product that you want > set the "Published" state to "draft" or you can select multiple products and bulk-set the "status" to "draft" - hidden link) or hire a developer (or a WPML contractor: https://wpml.org/contractors/) to create a custom solution for that.

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei
