This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are unable to set English logos for the English version of your bilingual website despite following the initial steps of changing the main language, deleting strings, rescanning, and adding translated versions of the logos.
Solution:
We recommend ensuring you have a full backup of your website. Then, navigate to WPML > String Translations. Here, select the domains related to the logo as indicated in our previous communication. You should translate any image IDs and URLs associated with the logo. This approach should help resolve the issue.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at our support forum.

Background of the issue:
I have a bilingual website with Georgian as the main language and English as the second language. I'm trying to set English logos for the English version of the site. I changed the main language, deleted the strings, scanned them again, found the string, and added the translated version of the logos.

Symptoms:
I can't set English logos for the English version despite following the steps.

Questions:
How can I set English logos for the English version of my site?

Hey there,

One more thing: please make sure to have a full website backup and review the String Translation for the logo.

You can go to WPML > String Translations and select the 2 domains I marked in the image attached. Please translate any image IDs and URLs that are related to the logo. I believe this will solve the issue. Let me know how it goes.

So at the moment the problem is solved for the desktop version, but remains for the responsive versions of website.
