Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want to translate a text (email) I inserted in "Abandoned Cart Lite for WooCommerce" plugin.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
The plugin's --> To translate the strings, you need to generate ".po" and ".mo" files in your respective language. These files then need to be added to the following path: "woocommerce-abandoned-cart/i18n/languages"

...so I downloaded the po file of the domain woocommerce-abandoned-cart but when I open it I can't find my text. But actually I need to translate the text I inserted, not the strings

What is the link to your site?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the WPML Support Forum.

Usually, the string base don plugins should be locatable on String Translation.

1) Go to WPML -> Theme and Plugin Localization and scan the plugin for new strings
2) Go to WPML -> String Translation and choose the plugin domain the dropdown. You may now search the strings or use the text search field.
3) In case the strings will not show up, click: "Translate text in admin screens" which can be found at the bottom of the page. Here search for the language domain of the plugin and locate the strings. Then mark them and scroll to the bottom of the page to apply the changes.
4) The strings should now be available on String Translation.

If the strings still will not show up the reason might be a compatilbity issue between the plugin and WPML and we will need to investigate further.

Strings will need to be wrapped inside of a GetText call in order for String Translation to recognize them as translatable.

Kind regards

Hello,

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:
