Hi, I'm using Jupiter Theme (Artbees themes).
In the CART page I have a beautiful icon with description.
I found the string and I translate it but I can't see translation in the page, any suggestion?
I clear the cache and scan all strings...

The Artbees team suggest me to translate these words with Loco Translate plugin and check again. Also, please make sure that your Italian language ID is "it-IT".

I would like to avoid installing a new program

Thanks for support.

Hi,
to solve your issue you've to translate those strings through the String Translation function.
Plese, go to
WPML -> String Translation where you'll be able to
- choose the translation status of each string with the 'Select which string to display' select
- choose the domain where search for the strings with the 'Select strings with domain' select
- search the string where you can enter a search value to narrow down specific strings
Now you can click on the translations link to open the translation editor, translate the string and check the 'Translation is complete' box before 'Save'.
You can read the 'Getting started guide' for 'String Translation' here
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/
Pay attention also that, as you can read in the section 'Translating strings in the wp_options table', many themes and plugins store texts in the wp_options table.
If this were your case, please click the 'Translate texts in admin screens' link and follow the instructions.

Thank you, Francesco

Hi Francesco, I selected the 3 strings to translation panel. I translate it again but I can't see the translation 🙁 - What should I do now?

Ciao,

<span class="mk-checkout-step-text">Cart</span>
<span class="mk-checkout-step-text">Delivery & Payment</span>
<span class="mk-checkout-step-text">Complete Order</span>

Come puoi vedere qui https://wpml.org/faq/getting-string-translation-to-work/#method-3-using-gettext-for-hard-coded-strings

<?php __('Hello world','cool_theme'); ?>

Aspetto tue notizie, Francesco

Grazie Francesco.
