Background of the issue:
I recently uninstalled WPML from my website, link nascosto, following all recommended steps, including removing all media in secondary languages before uninstalling.

Symptoms:
Virtual duplicates of the media files still remain, and they cannot be deleted.

Questions:
Is there any way to fully remove these virtual duplicates from my site?
