Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that the product category section on the main page of my site, hidden link, appears the same on both the original German version and the English translated domain using WPML.

Symptoms:
The product category section shows up differently on the English translated domain compared to the original German version.

Questions:
Why would the product category section appear differently on the English translation compared to the German version?

Hi There!
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I've checked both the English and German versions and noticed that the category order isn't the same. This could be happening because the "Order settings" might not have been copied to the translation.

Could you please open the translated version of the page in the editor and check if the "Order settings" or the configuration from the default version have been applied correctly?

If not, it may be due to the translation settings not being properly configured. Please adjust the settings manually in the translation, and this should resolve the issue.

Another factor to consider is that the order may not always align perfectly between languages. For example, if the order is set to "A-Z" in the default language, the translated categories might appear differently because of variations in the translated text. In such cases, you may need to manually adjust the category order in the translation to meet your requirements.

I hope you can understand. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification. I'll be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
