Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate WooCommerce products on my site hidden link using the WPML plugin. After completing the translation, a gear icon appears in the status, and the translation does not show up. On the plugins page, there is a message stating that the plugin cannot connect to wpml.org. In the Installer support, everything is green, and the hosting provider has indicated that there is no issue on their end.

Symptoms:
The WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org, and translations for WooCommerce products are not showing up, indicated by a gear icon in the status.

Questions:
Why is the WPML plugin unable to connect to wpml.org?
How can I resolve the issue of WooCommerce product translations not showing up?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

This may be a temporary issue or a false-positive. However, are there any security modules installed on your website? Because the server might be blocking some requests. Please have a look at https://wpml.org/faq/wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org/ for details.

Additionally, if the issue still persists after whitelisting the links, you can go to https://wpml.org/account/sites/, delete the existing key for your website and try to generate a new one.

You can also try to force the connection to wpml.org, by going to Plugins > Add new > Commercial tab and click the button "Check for updates".

Also ensure that your production site meets minimum requirements as prescribed at https://wpml.org/faq/checklist-before-opening-a-ticket-in-wpml-support/#does-your-wordpress-installation-afford-you-all-the-resources-needed.

Please let me know and I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.

Regards.
