Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the WPML plugin for translations on my site hidden link. I am doing translations, but after saving, the translations are not working or being published.

Symptoms:
The plugin is not saving or publishing translations correctly.

Questions:
Why are my translations not being saved or published?
How can I fix the issue with WPML not working properly?

Hi there.

From what I can see now, the translation is working fine and it is also displaying on the front-end.

Also, in the backend, I can see a "pencil" edit icon and I don't see a "circled sync" icon anymore.

Can you please confirm that it looks ok on your end, too?
