This update also includes completely new and improved Translation Queue and Translation Jobs tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-toolset-blocks-container tb-container\" data-toolset-blocks-container=\"55c3bf860e000c3bb94389dfc2fe7c24\">\n<div class=\"tb-fields-and-text\" data-toolset-blocks-fields-and-text=\"3e1d2592ce20bdf2bf813c9dfa44c991\"><p>Since publishing this post, we released <strong>WPML 4.5.10 <\/strong>to fix a bug related to <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/errata\/wpml-4-5-9-widgets-are-shown-in-all-languages-if-classic-widgets-plugin-is-enabled\/\">using Classic Widgets for specific languages<\/a> and <strong>WPML 4.5.11<\/strong> as a <a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\">security patch update<\/a>. Be sure to update to the latest version for the best experience with WPML.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image tb-image tb-image-dynamic tb-image-frame-none\" data-toolset-blocks-image=\"69ca283c5920ff5023a9000abd4bd968\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/twitter-23.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fixes for the Advanced Translation Editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We decided to release this update to fix various issues that could appear when using the <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/documentation\/translating-your-contents\/advanced-translation-editor\/\">Advanced Translation Editor<\/a>. WPML 4.5.9 includes fixes to the following issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Translations get stuck and the troubleshooting logs state, \u201cStarted attempt to download XLIFF file. The process did not finish,\u201d and, \u201cThe uploaded XLIFF file doesn\u2019t belong to this system.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New translation jobs are created whenever you open a completed translation job in the Advanced Translation Editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Translation jobs open in the WordPress native editor when they should open in the Advanced Translation Editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Translation jobs are created with invalid job ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Translation jobs are stuck in the <strong>Pending Review<\/strong> status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When using Translate Everything with a lot of attachments, the Translation Management Dashboard gets stuck on <strong>Calculating\u2026<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You get an error message, <strong>WPML didn\u2019t manage to translate<\/strong>, when the user doesn\u2019t have a valid username and email in their profile (however, we are still working on a similar issue when the user is a site admin)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After site migration or changing the site URL, the <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/documentation\/translating-your-contents\/advanced-translation-editor\/using-advanced-translation-editor-when-you-move-or-use-a-copy-of-your-site\/#:~:text=Nothing%20will%20change%20on%20your,to%20update%20your%20site%20key.\">site action notice<\/a> doesn\u2019t appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>See our <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/download\/wpml-multilingual-cms\/?section=changelog\">full changelog<\/a> for all the bug fixes included in this release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improved Translation Queue and Translation Jobs Tables<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With this release, you\u2019ll notice better filtering and more details in the Translation Queue and Jobs tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Translations Queue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can access the Translation Queue by going to <strong>WPML<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Translations<\/strong>. This table shows all jobs, both completed and in progress. Translation Managers and site admins can access it by going to <strong>WPML<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Translation Management<\/strong> and clicking the <strong>Translation Jobs<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image tb-image tb-image-dynamic tb-image-frame-none\" data-toolset-blocks-image=\"aa0d091126a4dd19f296354b8d49d54f\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/wpml-4-5-9-new-translations-jobs-page.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"\"\/><figcaption><div class=\"tb-image-caption\"><em>The new and improved jobs table<\/em><\/div><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WPML SEO 2.1.0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>WPML also released an update for the <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/documentation\/related-projects\/wpml-seo\/\">WPML SEO glue plugin<\/a>. This update fixes a number of issues regarding compatibility between WPML, <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/documentation\/plugins-compatibility\/using-wordpress-seo-with-wpml\/\">Yoast<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/documentation\/plugins-compatibility\/optimize-multilingual-websites-using-rank-math-and-wpml\/\">Rank Math<\/a> including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Removing hidden languages from taxonomy sitemaps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixing an issue to copy the product primary category to translations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adding support for canonical URL in author archives pages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Converting the taxonomy breadcrumb link<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And more.
