Hi there.

1. What you would like to translate "CM" into? Please let me know the translation that you would like to use and in what language is each of the strings.

2. Please give me an URL example of a product where I can see this value.

3. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of the site files and database before providing us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box.

The private box looks like this: hidden link

I will be waiting for your response.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

Hi there and thank you for the credentials.

I can confirm that I was able to successfully log in.

From what I can see, there are many many plugins that are outdated.

That can cause issues with the current situation that we are investigating.

Can you please create a full website backup and then go here (hidden link) and update everything to the latest version first?

Also, please clear the current cache completely (I can see that you are using a caching plugin). If there is also any server caching, please remove that, too.

Please let me know once that's done.

Thank you.

Mihai

Hi Mihai,

Thank you for the fast answer.

All active plugins are pretty updated (there are new versions, but the ones were launched week or few weeks ago).

We use WPML few years and translation issues never were related to the conflict with plugins.
Could you please check the alternative reasons first for the problem that we investigating, please?

Many thanks!

Hi there and thank you for your response.

Sure, I investigated forward and it seems that if you go to WPML > String Translation > Translate texts in admin strings (hidden link; and search for "kg", at page 11, there's a "woocommerce_weight_unit" string that was not included in String Translation (I'm attaching a screenshot). Same for "CM".

I added them to String Translation and Translated them.

Let me know if it works fine now.

Mihai
