Problem: The client is experiencing a fatal error when saving an Elementor editing page, receiving multiple 'Commands out of sync' database errors and a PHP fatal error indicating memory exhaustion. Solution: The issue might be related to the 'open_basedir' restriction on the server, which limits the paths PHP can access, potentially affecting file operations required by Elementor and WPML. We recommend contacting your hosting provider to discuss modifying the 'open_basedir' settings or other server configurations that might be causing these errors.
Deleting all WordPress Revisions for this page fixed the issue.

Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.
That error is a database + server issue, almost all the time it's because the database is missing the right configuration in the tables.
Please ask your hosting about this and ask them if they can check that all the tables have auto increment where "ID" elements exist but in general to check the database (logs) they might have in the server.

Could you please check if the issue persists in a minimal environment by following these steps?
1- Deactivate all the plugins except WPML CMS, String Translation, Elementor, and Elementor Pro.
2- Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one.
3- Create a new test page and translate it.
4- Update the newly created page.
If the issue is gone, activate them one by one to see which one is causing an interaction issue.

I did what you said and I found the plugin which was the cause of the issue.
I removed this plugin and now I only get one single error which seems to be related to WPML.

Open_basedir is a restriction that prevents a hosting package user from accessing unauthorized paths on the server, such as the paths to other domains on shared web servers or to the hosting software.
The open_basedir function defines the locations or paths from which PHP is allowed to access files using functions like fopen() and gzopen(). PHP will refuse to open if a file is outside of the paths defined by open_basedir.
In order to fix this, please consult your host provider support.
My hosting provider told me that the problem is that WPML is trying to access the root of of the server. I mean outside the htmlpublic folder. There is nothing there related to the files of the site.

The hosting has assigned 500M to memory_limit which is more than enough for this website.
When saving the elementor editor page I get a 500 Error. If I check the apache.file.log the error is related to exeded memory_limit.
If I disabled all WPML plugins the 500 Error is gone.
I already consulted to my hosting provider and they told me that WPML fires too many requests and that is cause of the HUGE memory usage.
