Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you resolve the issue.

Please visit the following link: https://wpml.org/account/sites/ and click on the Register a new site button. Make sure you select Development when generating the new site key.

Have you already configured WPML on your localhost site? If yes, you can also try the steps suggested here:

https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/using-advanced-translation-editor-when-you-move-or-use-a-copy-of-your-site/#unregistering-new-site

Hello Bigul,

Thank you for your reply. I don't see a button to Register new site. I am using Safari and have turned off all the Adblock plugins. How do I register development site then?

I since then registered WPML on my production site, so that's fine. However yesterday I tried to register at localhost and I had a problem, because URL was not matching. What is correct url to provide when I am hosting dev site at localhost?

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. I checked with our team regarding this issue. It appears you are currently using the End User subscription on WPML.org, which allows registration for only one site.

To access full privileges, including registering multiple sites, please upgrade to the WPML Multilingual CMS subscription. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Please refer to the following documentation and related tickets for more details:

Dear Bigul,

Thanks for providing me with forum posts. I have read this, but this is not inline with the offer that I have signed for. It exclusively states on
https://wpml.org/purchase/

That I am egible for 3 development websites.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. The one showing in the Purchase page is the WPML Blog subscription. And it is a different one from your current subscription (*End User*).

The WPML Blog subscription is a very basic one; it only includes translation using the WordPress Editor option. Refer to the attached image for more details.

It is the same one or you are confusing the clients when they make the purchase. I was the developer of my own website. I bought the product for 39 euro, which is the same price as Multilingual Blog. I was not told I am buying End User License.

When I am trying to buy Multilingual Blog I got the error message "You already have an account that includes all the features of this account." So it must be the same account type.

Should I refund what I bought, and buy Multilingual Blog for the same price?

Please refer to my screen shot.

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback, and sorry for the confusion.

You received the following message because the WPML End User subscription includes all the features of both the WPML Blog and WPML CMS packages, but it is limited to a single site:

You already have an account that includes all the features of this account.

To upgrade, please visit https://wpml.org/account/ and check if the Upgrade option appears in the left sidebar.
