Hi there, I have sent you a ticket a few time ago, regarding the change of permalinks for language slug.

"Hi there, is there any way to change the SLUG of portuguese from pt-pt to just PT?

For instance, I want to have hidden link instead of hidden link"

You have replied but, however that works, I can't add a image to the new language, always staying in the icon a broken image, can you please advise?

Hello,

Thank you for the provided details. I took a look at your settings and noticed you already defined the 'Portuguese Portugal' as the default language, that being said, it is not possible to edit the language code to make it as 'pt' instead of 'pt-pt', however there's a workaround for that, you can try:

1. You can create a new language in your WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Languages > Site Languages > Edit Languages with the 'pt' code.

2. Then, duplicate the content from 'pt-pt' to 'pt'. You can duplicate your content in bulk in WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Translation Management settings.

3. At the end, you may either hide the content in your original 'pt-pt' language in your WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Languages > Hide Languages or remove them completely.

4 - Make the content of the newly created langauge 'pt' as translated independently.

Thank you for the updates. I took a look at the upload custom flag option of your editing language screen (see attached screenshot) and it seems to be working properly. Which issue do you see when trying to upload a customized flag image? Please, let me know, have a nice day.
