Hello friends, how are you?

I would like to know if it is possible to configure the system so that the option "
Simple edit - don't update translation" Is on by default.

We are working on a site where your languages will be pages with different items, and each page will need to maintain itself, with no risk of being overwritten.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there is no default feature to do this.

When you make a change to the default language with the feature enable the "needs update" status will be triggered and once you access the translation editor the new change will be included.

However, if you are attempting to have different content per language then I suggest not using the WPML translation editors to avoid this.

You can edit the translations separately and have different content per page when translating manually.

See the following documentation, please.
