This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to translate the WP Cookie Consent plugin using WPML but is unsure how to proceed.
Solution:
We recommend using the WPML String Translation to translate all strings of the WP Cookie Consent plugin. If some strings are missing, you should register them to appear in the translation table. You can do this by following the steps outlined in Finding Strings That Don’t Appear on the String Translation Page. It is advisable to use the "Admin Strings" option. Once activated, open the Frontend, and WPML will attempt to automatically register all visible strings.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket.

Hi,

before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, let me guide you through some initial debugging steps to help expedite the support process.

Yes, you should be able to translate all strings using WPML String Translation. If some strings are missing, you can register them to appear in the table by following the steps outlined here: Finding Strings That Don’t Appear on the String Translation Page. I recommend using the "Admin Strings" option. Once activated, open the Frontend, and WPML will attempt to automatically register all visible strings.

Best regards,
Marcel

Hi,

I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

Please search for the strings you want to translate. For example, Ta spletna stran uporablja piškotke za izboljšanje vaše izkušnje.

If you couldn't find the string, I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama
