We want to add a fancy showcase section to wpml.org<\/a>, which will feature sites that use WPML.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This new section will list sites that were added to our forum’s showcase section<\/i>. It will look like the showcase section on WordPress.org<\/a> with preview images, description, visitor rating and (of course) outgoing links.<\/p>\n

This project involves theme programming and design. While we can program it, we prefer to concentrate of WPML development and want to outsource this work.<\/p>\n

Showcase section for wpml.org<\/h2>\n

There are two page templates to design for this section:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Individual showcase pages (each talking about one website).<\/li>\n
  2. A parent showcase page, listing all the individual showcase pages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The individual showcase pages will be created with a template that uses custom fields for the thumbnail photo, excerpt and category. It will allow user rating and comments.<\/p>\n

    The parent showcase section page will act as an index page, showing the thumbnails, excerpts, category and rating of child pages. Comments will be closed for that page.<\/p>\n

    Of course, everything in the showcase section will be translated, so these template files must be language friendly.<\/p>\n

    What we expect<\/h2>\n

    Milestones:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. We would first like to get a wireframe design<\/strong> (non working design) of the project.<\/li>\n
    2. Next, you will need to add it to our theme<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. You’ll have to test and demo it on your own server<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. When it’s all completed, we’ll run it on wpml.org.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The design must be 100% HTML clean and database efficient (don’t call the same thing 10 times on the same page).<\/p>\n

      The two new page types will be WordPress page template.<\/p>\n

      Payment<\/h2>\n

      We can only pay using PayPal<\/strong>. We’ll pay 1\/3 when you get started, another 1\/3 when you show a working demo on your server and the last 1\/3 when the work is delivered.<\/p>\n
