Hmm, this is weird indeed. How can you recognize that WPML is not active? If the WPML plugin is already installed in your site, you don’t need to buy it or register in order to work. Of course you might have some issues if you are using an old version which is not compatible with your current WordPress version, which is recommended.
If you have a WPML account, please login there (use this link if you don’t remember your password) and try to register your site. But the bottom line is that you need to register your site only to receive automatic updates.
Please raise this issue on our support forum and our supporters will investigate that case for you.

Our supporters can investigate it further for you but you need to have an active WPML account. Probably the first thing they will ask you is to upgrade WPML to the latest version anyway. yes, you can switch currencies using WPML as well but if you are not going to translate your products I wonder if it makes sense to install so many plugins only to allow your visitor to switch currencies. If you think it’s worth and there is no other simpler solution on the market, why not.

I have a site that needs to be translated, and special, already translated content inserted into specific pages. It is built on Divi, so I know you are compatible. My question is, once the site is translated, can we insert the already translated content into specific pages, without the plugin changing the translation we have? For example, because the school is regulated, the content for the enrollment agreement, the school catalog, etc. is already translated for us to insert after we translate the site itself. The translation has been approved, and cannot be changed.
We have considered installing a separate Spanish site in a sub folder as an alternative, if we cannot do this on the current site. For Spanish, we would then direct them to http://thelearningsource.net/Spanish/

1. Once the WPML plugin is activated on your site, it will ask you to select your languages.
2. The languages you selected will be available in the so called language switcher on every page of your site
3. You need to translate the posts and pages
4. When a visitor comes to your site, she will click on the language switcher to see the post/page in the relevant language
You can add any language to your site but you need to translate the contents yourself (or you can send your posts/pages to professional translation services that are integrated with WPML but paid extra)

We have already first created a website in French using BeThemes – are we able to install your program at this point- and then duplicate all of the pages in English? I think I saw somewhere that perhaps we should have installed your product in the very beginning of the design/creation of the website stages. I am just wondering if it can be utilized after the fact.

Your WPML account has expired, so you cannot download new versions or access our support.
A security update is available for you. To access it, go to Downloads. Since your subscription has expired, you can only receive this update manually, without WPML’s automated installation process.
You can buy a new account, or save by upgrading to a Lifetime account at a reduced rate.
Upgrade to a Lifetime account ($116.00 instead of $195.00). Buy the Multilingual CMS again ($79.00).

that’s correct. Once your account expires you are losing access to the download section (the only exception is this security update). If you had your plugin installed somewhere you can still use it but it is recommended to use the most recent version (it is compatible with current WordPress core release and the safest one).

in that case WPML is not a solution for you. I would suggest to look up a dedicated plugin for your specific need.
